Endemic to the mountains of Peninsular Malaysia. It is sometimes listed as a subspecies of Striated Swallow Hirundo striolata, as in the reference book, A Field Guide to the Birds of South-East Asia by Craig Robson, I have on hand.

very cool tarantula. a segment of the legs turn dark as they mature.


Smaller ones' legs have uniform colors.
